Developer Exsoftware has two applications to offer to the public: PhotoInfoEx, a user friendly tool that allows you to view and edit a digital image’s main info, EXIF info, IPTC info, and maker notes; and Security Expert, a powerful tool that was purpose designed to help you protect your digital photos. You can use Security Expert to prevent others from copying your photos, to watermark your photos, to put an expiration date on your photos, and more.

Security Expert can be installed on a PC powered by anything from Windows XP up to Windows 8. Installing the application is a simple, standard task: download an installer, run it, click through the instruction presented by a setup wizard.
You don't need to check the application’s system requirements because your PC is sure to meet them. Just to be thorough, here are said system requirements: 700MHZ processor or better, 256MB of RAM memory or more, 800x600 or higher resolution monitor, 400MB of free disk space.

Once the installation completes you will find two shortcuts on your desktop: Security Expert Editor (the tool you can use to encrypt files and so on) and Security Expert Viewer (a tool you can use to view encrypted photos). Both feature a black themed interface that I found to be quite good looking and very easy to use.

On Security Expert’s list of features you will find the following: provides support for a long list of image formats, copy protect images, password protection, add a watermark, manage the quality of the encoded image, remotely manage the rights of your photos. Use the aforementioned Security Expert Editor to apply any restrictions you want; use the Security Expert to view the encoded, processed images.

The Security Expert trial comes with the following limitations: web tab cannot be customized, watermark on encrypted files.

Make sure you photos are protected by taking advantage of the wonderful functionality Security Expert has to offer.

Pros

A modern PC will very easily meet this application’s system requirements. Security Expert features a black-themed, easy to use interface. With Security Expert Editor you can encrypt your photos; said photos can be viewed with Security Expert Viewer. Use Security Expert to protect your photos and to manage their rights. Support for multiple languages is provided.

Cons

Trial limitations: watermark on output, won’t allow you to customize the web tab.
